Patronpath's IaaS deployment includes the ability to virtually distribute our application across multiple servers to handle peak periods as well as deploy 'instances' of our application for custom deployments, testing, quality assurance, and development.

Server Oriented Architecture
Patronpath's applications are loosely coupled using distributed computing and modular programming techniques. Each of Patronpath's systems (Online Ordering, POS Integration and Email Marketing) resides on independent applications and databases and use Web Services internally in an Apache, PHP/MySQL, Java 2 Enterprise Edition environment.

Agile
Because of its infrastructure and architecture, Patronpath is able to respond quickly to client requests and deploy changes without the need for downtime and extended maintenance. Patronpath employs multiple project managers, architects, and developers who are able to work independently and quickly for deployment of features and enhancements.

Scalable
Patronpath's architecture was designed by architects and engineers who have successfully implemented technologies at some of the highest transaction eCommerce providers in the world, including Columbia House and Brightpoint Communications. Our system is designed to consume hundreds of thousands of transactions per day.

Reliable
All orders can be viewed online or sent via email and/or fax to ensure the order is always fulfilled in a timely and accurate manner. Alerts can be sent through email, prerecorded voice messages via phone (VoiceShot), or Short Messaging System (SMS).

User Interface Design and Usability
Patronpath has enlisted the assistance of ecommerce and usability consultants to develop a user interface that is logical and simple, but drives sales and increased customer retention and satisfaction. Vision
Patronpath uses an ongoing prioritized backlog of client requests, suggestions, and requirements to drive development. Parallel to Patronpath's primary application deployment are plans for a comprehensive rewrite to incorporate the latest in user interface design techniques and technologies.
